With the floppy disk database you can catalogue all your disks by number. Useful for other types of disks such as CDROM, DVD, HD, really any type of disk that is accessible by the operating system. You can scan files on the disk and store them in a file which can be viewed and searched. Database's that you create are OS independent meaning you can access a database created in Linux on MSWindows and vice-versa.
